Holiday reunions? Impress your titas with these easy desserts recipes
‘Tis season of giving is also for gatherings and eating

MANILA, Philippines – The cool air has begun blowing, the jingles have started playing. Yep, it’s holiday season alright.

That just means reunion invites are now waiting ‘round the corner, coming anytime soon. Because what is Christmas if not a season of remembrance and reconnections?

And when there’s a reunion, you know you have to bring something to the table. (It’s really not a question or an option; for us Pinoys, it’s kind of a fact.)

In these times though, the act of giving should be just like the magi: wise. What dishes can we serve then that will impress the hardest-to-please and most “may taste” tita but still be affordable and easy to make?

Here are perfect dessert suggestions:

M.Y. San Grahams Fruit Salad Float

Why make this staple Christmas dessert with just one fruit when you can throw in the whole fruit basket?

Combine chilled cream, condensed milk, and drained fruit cocktail.

In a rectangular pan, layer the bottom with M.Y. San Honey Grahams side by side. Top this tasty foundation with the fruits and cream mixture. Repeat the process until you get 2 or 3 layers.

Decorate with more fruit, chill, and, serve!

No-bake Revel Bites with M.Y. San Grahams

Reach a whole new skill level with these bars of revel!

Level 1: Prepare the crust.

Melt butter over medium heat, then stir in brown sugar until it caramelizes. Remove the mix from heat then stir in M.Y. San Crushed Honey Grahams, followed by the oats.

Press half of the mixture in your serving pan to make a crust. Don’t throw away the other half though, we will be using that later.

Level 2: Melt the chocolate.

Over low heat, stir condensed milk and chocolate chips until the mix is melted and smooth.

Pour this in on top of your graham crust and spread evenly.

Remember your remaining honey grahams? Put them on top of your concoction. Even it out and make sure the grahams blend well with the chocolate.

Chill for 2 to 3 hours, slice into bites, and serve.

M.Y. San Graham Truffles

It’s your favorite chocolate truffles without the scuffle!

Mix together condensed milk and cocoa powder until the powder is dissolved. Add the M.Y. San Graham Crushed Honey Grahams into the mix until you form a dough.

Get a tablespoon of dough, flatten it, and add marshmallow in the middle. Cover the marshmallow by surrounding it with another tablespoon of the dough mixture.

Refrigerate for 10 minutes, and serve with a melted dark chocolate coating.

See! With these desserts, who said classy needs be costly? We bet your titas will be begging for more. – Rappler.com
