UPHOLDING VOLUNTEERISM. Four speakers will lead discussions on active citizenship at the VSO Volunteer Fair on March 5

When you’re encouraged to be the change you want to see in the world, what has that actually moved you to do? How far have you gone to make a positive impact in a community?

Dialogues@Starbucks, a global initiative on corporate social responsibility, networking and consumer education, sits at the VSO Bahaginan 3rd Volunteering Expo Volunteer Fair on March 5, 4:30 to 5:45 PM, at Gateway Suites.

Four speakers will lead discussions on active citizenship and how to create change in the world wherever they find themselves in.

They will be Hanna Ebeling of LGT Venture Philanthropy, an investment group supporting institutions who have made significant impact in the social and environmental scene; Terri Jayme-Mora of Ashoka Foundation, a global organization supporting social entrepreneurs from all over the world; and Crystal Anievas and Jov Trinidad of OneTama Foundation, a group formed by young, idealistic movers seeking to celebrate positive actions instead of pointing out systemic flaws.
