MANILA, Philippines – East Zone concessionaire Manila Water is still implementing rotational interruptions in July, like Maynilad Water Services which handles the West Zone.

The two concessionaires are still getting limited supply from the Angat Dam, which remains below its minimum operating water level of 180 meters.

“Ang mga service interruption na ito ay ginagawa para maipamahagi ang limitadong suplay ng tubig sa lahat ng aming mga customer, dahil nananatiling mas mababa ang alokasyon mula sa NWRB (National Water Resources Board) galing Angat Dam,” said Manila Water on Friday, July 19.

(These service interruptions are being implemented to distribute the limited supply of water to all our customers, since the allocation given by the NWRB from the Angat Dam remains low.)
