The agency is inviting schools to bid for the long-term lease and development of a 1,395-square meter lot in Global City, Taguig

MANILA, Philippines – State-run Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) is inviting schools to bid for the long-term lease and development of a 1,395-square meter lot in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig.

“We are calling on all interested educational institutions to join this bidding process, and be one with the BCDA in pursuing continued national progress,” BCDA President and CEO Arnel Paciano Casanova said in a statement.

“We expect the institutional area of BGC to play a crucial role not just in the future of the Taguig business district, but the country as a whole,” he added.

Nena Radoc, chair of BCDA’s Asset Disposition Program Committee, said the property is the last remaining vacant lot at the institutional area of BGC.

“In effect, this is a rare chance for reputable educational institutions to have their presence in the most progressive and prestigious address in Metro Manila,” she said.

Radoc said interested bidders may purchase the Terms of Reference for the bidding from May 24 to June 11 for a non-refundable fee of P50,000.

She added that a pre-bid conference, where details of the bidding will be discussed, will be held on June 11, 10 am. – Rappler.com
