MANILA, Philippines – Gotianun-led Filinvest Alabang Inc. (FAI) could earn up to P6 billion in sales from a newly launched high-end residential development in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

Botanika Nature Residences, a 3-tower project, is the first prime development under Exclusive Collection, the newest and highest-end category of the Filinvest group.

At the project launching, Filinvest Development Corp. (FDC) president and CEO Josephine Gotianun-Yap said Botanika Nature Residences is a low-density project in Filinvest City, Alabang. FAI is a subsidiary of FDC.

“The market for this type of project is now ready. This novel venture answers the need of the exclusive category of home buyers who put premium on space and aesthetics alongside joys and conveniences that can be had living in a condominium,” she said.

The 1.55-hectare project will house only 370 condominium units.

The first tower will have 101 units, priced at P18.2 million and above. Turnover of this tower is expected by the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Interior design for the 2-bedroom units was done by Budji Layug and Royal Pineda. Singapore-based Miaja Design Group designed the 3-bedroom units and common areas.

‘Triple A’ market

Gotianun-Yap said projects under Exclusive Collection will be put up in prime locations, will be low-density and will be designed by international planners.

These projects will target the “triple A” market, she added.

For Botanika Nature Residences, Filinvest Alabang is targeting the upper class, entrepreneurs and executives, with household monthly incomes of P300,000 and more.

“This is the pilot project for a new niche in Filinvest’s market category, one that is higher than the high-end,” Gotianun-Yap said.

Filinvest Alabang is 80% owned by FDC and 20% held by Filinvest Land Inc.

Filinvest Alabang is the developer of the 244-hectare Filinvest City.

The Filinvest group is also engaged in banking, sugar milling and power generation. – Rappler.com
