MANILA, Philippines – Cynthia Villar, one of the first to arrive at the Team PNoy Miting de Avance on May 10, got an early-bird prize in the form of an on-stage endorsement from television personality Willie Revillame.

The “Wowowillie” host was present at the gathering in Amoranto, Quezon City as a guest endorser for Team PNoy. He mentioned that he thought President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino was doing a good job. He did not mention any Team PNoy candidate.

A large chunk of his speech was about Villar. He called the senatorial candidate a simple person who never wears luxury brands like Prada and Louis Vuitton.

Revillame has been a staunch supporter of Cynthia Villar since her husband Manny Villar’s bid for presidency in 2010. He was beside her when she filed for her senatorial candidacy in the Commisson on Elections (Comelec) office in Intramuros, Manila.
