MANILA, Philippines – Comedian Ai-Ai delas Alas is officially with GMA 7.
Ai-Ai signed a two year exclusive contract with the network on Thursday, April 16.
News of Ai-Ai’s switch to GMA 7 was reported a few weeks back, when she did not renew her contract with ABS-CBN.
Before the signing, Ai-Ai posted on Instagram a message of the BIG DAY.
“TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY — thank you GOD FOR ALL THE BLESSINGS… Tom will be awesome— #aishallreturn #aimbless,” she wrote.
Ai-Ai started her career in GMA 7. In 1991, she was one of the hosts of the late night talk show R.S.V.P. She also did Lunch Date and Salu-Salo Together.
In 1998, Ai-Ai moved to ABS-CBN, which was her home network for 15 years. Her last show with the Kapamilya network was Dyesebel. –Rappler.com
