Cast him already: Jamie Costa transforms into Robin Williams in viral video

Jamie Costa fully transforms into Robin Williams in a viral video that has left fans asking for a biopic of the late actor.

In the clip, titled ROBIN Test Footage Scene, Jamie plays Robin from his Mork and Mindy era. It depicts the moment when Robin learns of the death of his friend, comedian John Belushi. Robin’s Mork and Mindy co-star Pam Dawber (played by actress Sarah Murphree), is the one who breaks the news to Robin.

John died of a drug overdose in 1982, hours after he was visited by a number of friends, including Robin.

At the end of the clip, Pam and Robin are called back to set, with Pam telling Robin he doesn’t have to go back out there – to which Robin says, “Oh I think I do, Pam.”

The clip ends with Robin setting aside his grief to rehearse a few lines in front of the mirror – a heartrending scene that sums up Robin’s life as an actor.

The video is not Jamie’s first time to step into the role of Robin Williams. After Robin’s death in 2014, Jamie posted a tribute video, where he does impressions of Robin in his most famous roles. The video – and Jamie’s spot-on portrayal of Robin  – also went viral at the time. – Rappler.com
