[WATCH] Rappler Live Jam: Monique

MANILA, Philippines – Rappler Live Jam is in for a sweet, soothing set with singer-songwriter Monique.

Born and raised in Cebu, the artist – whose full name is Monique delos Santos – started singing since she was a young girl, starring in local productions of musicals such as Oliver Twist and The Sound of Music. She’s been pursuing music since then, continously writing and recordng songs, and performing gigs all over the country.

In 2011, Monique auditioned for American Idol, and made it as far as the Hollywood round.

In 2016, she banded together with her mother Eva and sister Ana and joined Pilipinas Got Talent as The Raes, making it to the semifinals.

These days, Monique continues to churn out new music, and is set to launch a new single on Spotify.
