WATCH: Newest ‘Finding Dory’ trailer features new characters

MANILA, Philippines – There’s a new Finding Dory trailer out, and this time, we get to see more of Dory’s adventures as she tries to find her parents. (WATCH: Dory ‘sleep-swims’ in first ‘Finding Dory’ trailer)

In the video above, released on Ellen DeGeneres’ YouTube channel on Wednesday, March 2, catch glimpses of the familiar underwater scenes that we loved in Finding Nemo. (READ: 12 things to know about Pixar’s ‘Finding Dory,’ featuring life after ‘Finding Nemo’)

Finding Dory picks up months after the events of Finding Nemo – all is well, with Dory settled happily with Nemo and Marlin. But Dory, our favorite forgetful blue tang, begins to remember details about her family.

In the trailer, we see a bit of her parents and flashes of her memories of when she was younger. “We will never forget you, Dory,” says a motherly voice. “What if I forget you?” answers a young voice. 

Determined, she sets out to find them, and this leads her to California, where she’ll meet new friends along the way.

Ellen reprises her role as Dory. Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, Willem Dafoe, Ty Burrell, and Ed O’Neill are also set to star. – Rappler.com
