MANILA, Philippines – Parokya ni Edgar is back with a brand-new album – the first in 6 years!
The band launched Pogi Years Old at Eastwood Central Plaza on Sunday, October 16, with a short concert for their fans.
Performing with them was former band member Vinci Montaner, who is featured in Pogi Years Old in the song "Beautiful Girl."
Also joining them at their album launch was Paolo Bernaldo of Moonstar88, who filled in for bassist Buwi Meneses, who is currently in the US.
Aside from songs from their new album like their newest single "Lagi Mong Tatandaan," Parokya also rocked out to hits like "Picha Pie" and had the crowd sing along to songs like "Harana." (WATCH: Parokya ni Edgar's 'Lagi Mong Tatandaan' music video)
Of course, in between songs – and sometimes during – they couldn't help but crack a few jokes. At one point, Chito even threw a few bottles of water to the crowd.
