Tom Jones cancels Manila concert
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Tom Jones has cancelled his Manila show on Saturday, April 2. The legendary British singer was set to perform at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
His management said in a statement, "Due to serious illness in his immediate family, Tom Jones has regretfully had to cancel his performance in Manila this evening."
"He extends his deepest apologies to both the organizers and the fans, who he is most sad to disappoint. There are no further details at this time."
Concert producers from Ovation Productions have announced refund procedures.
For those purchased at the Ticketnet box office and outlets, refunds will be made from April 5 to May 5 at the Ticketnet office at the Yellow Gate of the Araneta Coliseum, open daily from 10am to 8pm. Tickets must be surrendered upon refund.
Tickets purchased online at ticketnet.com.ph will be automatically refunded to the credit cards used at the time of purchase.
The legendary British singer and The Voice UK coach – responsible for hits like "It's Not Unusual," "Sex Bomb," and "Delilah" – arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Friday afternoon, ABS-CBN reports.
