The stan experience at EXplOration in Manila
We’re not yet over the EXO’s hype!

MANILA, Philippines — South Korean boy group EXO once again held a successful event in Manila with their 2-day concert EXplOration, their 5th concert tour.

It was obvious that the boys loved the Manila leg, seeing how much fun they had on stage and their during their ments.

Aside from the members, lucky fans also had the time of their lives during #GlobeKPOP’s Ultimate Stan Experience. On the second edition of the Ultimate Stan Search, Globe searched for the best EXO-Ls (fans of EXO) and awarded them with a VIP experience for the EXO Manila concert.

As early as 11am, lucky Filipino EXO-Ls who were selected as winners for the Ultimate Stan Tour already showed up at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Here’s what fans – particularly the Ultimate ones – enjoyed:

Welcome back to Manila

EXO performed a couple of their title songs like “Tempo,” “Love Shot,” “Monster,” “Power,” “Growl,” “Overdose,” and “Call Me Baby.”

Aside from title songs, special performances from sub-units and members were showcased.

“Lights Out” was performed by Jongdae, which everyone cheered happily for. “Been Through,” was a captivating solo stage by Junmyeon, a very sexy performance was also given by Kim Jongin with “Confession.” The sub-unit EXO-SC also performed their title song “What a Life” and “Closer to U” for their Manila fans, during which Chanyeol and Sehun made the crowd go crazy!

What makes EXplOration so enjoyable was the fact that the boys themselves had so much fun! It seems that their Manila leg had been the best so far – the boys even wanted a 3rd concert day.

PHIXOS, another term for Filipino EXO-Ls, chanted “Walang uuwi!” in response to this. Sehun later caught up on what it meant and later kept repeating “Walang uuwi!” as they were about to end the concert.

Suho promised to bring a new album and a new concert tour by the time they come back in the Philippines. Chanyeol, on the other hand, said he’ll be sure to come back alone if EXO doesn’t – just so he could eat Philippine mangoes.

Once again, EXO-Ls proved that the Philippine stop is the wildest and most fun not just by chanting to the songs but singing along to every single one of them.

It was clear the boys were so energized by the cheers everyone in the arena was giving them as soon as the concert started, until the boys ended their show with their iconic tagline, “We are One.” – Rappler.com
