Nora Aunor throws support behind Grace Poe in presidential campaign

MANILA, Philippines – Superstar Nora Aunor said she will definitely campaign for Senator Grace Poe, who is running in the 2016 presidential elections. 

In an interview with Pep, Nora said that she had talked to Grace before and believes she has the capacity to lead the country.  

“At minsan ko na rin siyang nakita at nakausap….Iba talaga kapag babae na may puso na marunong at madaling lapitan (I’ve seen and talked with her… It’s very different when a woman has heart and is easy to approach).”

“Sigurado ako diyan na malaki ang maitutulong niya sa ating mga kababayan (I’m very sure she can help our people),” Nora said.

Nora admits though that she feels sorry for Grace if ever she does win and lead the country because of the problems she will face when President Benigno Aquino III steps down. However, she is confident Grace can do the job.

Nora also said that she will go around in sorties for Grace. As early as May, Nora said she was willing to help in the campaign trail.

The filing of the certificates of candidacy for the 2016 elections is scheduled on October 12-16. – Rappler.com
