‘Dessert’ singer Dawin in Manila for New Year’s Eve countdown party

MANILA, Philippines – American singer Dawin, who popularized the hit “Dessert” is in Manila to perform at the New Year Countdown to 2016 at Eastwood.

According to an announcement on the Mega World Lifestyle Malls blog, Dawin is among the performers at Eastwood along with 2014 X-Factor Australia winner Marlisa Punzalan, Rico Blanco, Kyla, and Christian Bautista.

Dawin’s song “Dessert” has become one of 2015’s biggest hits. It was also used as one of the songs in Eat Bulaga‘s kalyserye –  Lola Nidora’s (Wally Bayola) theme song. – Rappler.com
