Chris Tiu, Clarisse Ong expecting first child

MANILA, Philippines – Basketball star and TV host Chris Tiu confirmed that he’s going to be a dad very soon. His wife Clarisse Ong is pregnant with their first child.

On Thursday, May 19, Chris wrote on Instagram:  “And of course, a huge thank you to my beautiful wife for always making sure that I get enough rest and eat the right food especially before games! 

“We are also expecting our first child anytime now so I would like to ask for your prayers for a smooth delivery and a healthy baby. She is definitely our lucky charm!!”

The news comes after Chris and his team Rain or Shine Elasto Painters won the PBA Commissioner’s Cup on Wednesday, May 18 against the Alaska Aces. (HIGHLIGHTS: PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals Game 6: Alaska vs Rain or Shine)
