MANILA, Philippines – Kathryn Bernardo said that although she and Daniel Padilla are exclusively going out – as they admitted in a previous interview with ABS-CBN – it’s still hard to label what she has with Daniel.

In an interview with reporters during the endorsement launch for Air Optix Colors, Sunday, July 10, Kathryn addressed this, “Actually, tinanong ako sa interview and sinabi ko parang hindi kasi iyon na bagay na hindi namin pinag-uusapan, na parang automatic na exclusive kami para sa isa’t isa, na hindi ka na open ‘pag aayain ka lumabas sa iba or anything.”

(Actually I was asked during the interview and I said it’s not a thing that we don’t talk about – that it’s automatic that we’re exclusive for each other, that we’re not open if someone asks us out or anything.)

She continued, “So I don’t know, it’s hard to tell kung ano yung real label but iyon yung sinabi namin, yung feel namin na right label to use – ‘exclusive for each other’ – parang ganun,” Kathryn said.

When asked about what she felt about Daniel’s revelation, Kathryn said: “Actually, more on sa mga mga tao iyon para hindi na nila kami tanungin kung ano talaga kung ano kami ni DJ. So at least ngayon alam na nila kung saan kami nangagaling, kung ano yung setup namin. Depende talaga iyon sa inyong mag-partner.”

(Actually, it’s really more for the public so they won’t keep asking what DJ and I really have between us. So at least now, they know where we’re coming from, what’s our setup. It really depends with you and your partner.)

She added: “Siyempre, masaya ka kasi ang hirap kapag yung girl ang nagsasalita. Si DJ kasi yung nandiyan nagsasalita para i-explain sa mga tao kung ano yung nangyayari.”

(Of course I’m happy because it’s hard if the girl is the one who speaks up. At least DJ is there to speak up and to explain to people what’s happening.)

Daniel previously spoke up about his relationship status with Kathryn in an interview with ABS-CBN News’ Marie Lozano.

Kathryn and Daniel recently returned from Barcelona, Spain, where they filmed their upcoming movie directed by Olivia M. Lamasan.
