IN PHOTOS: Maine Mendoza, Alden Richards’ twins baptized

MANILA, Philippines – The kalyeserye family has grown. On the Saturday, December 17 episode of the Eat Bulaga segment, Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards’ twins Charmaine Nidora and Richard Nidoro were baptized. 

 

Lola Nidora (Wally Bayola) helped with the preparations for the baptism, making sure that her grandchildren’s baptism party was in proper order.

 

 

Some of the Eat  Bulaga co-hosts were also present, along with Maine and Alden’s friends. Actor Kristopher Martin, one of Alden’s good friends, served as godfather, while Cacai Bautista, who was with the two in the movie Imagine You and Me was also there for the baptism.

In the kalyeserye storyline, Alden and Maine – who was known as Yaya Dub in the beginning of the series – are now parents, after the birth of their twins a few weeks back. The couple got married last October. (IN PHOTOS: AlDub weds! Yaya Dub and Alden’s kalyeserye wedding)

Formed on July 16, 2015, the tandem of Alden and Yaya Dub became a worldwide hit. After going through challenges to prove their love for each other, they became an official couple on October 24 during the AlDub: Ang Tamang Panahon, an event that garnered 41 million tweets.

The tandem, who starred in two movies previously, are set to do their first TV show entitled Destined to Be Yours in 2017. –  Rappler.com
