On Instagram, Michelle talked about why they chose to name their daughter Anika.

“Just a few more weeks Anika: ah-nee-ka, (grace; favor, brilliance; sweet faced)… You and I are gonna have so much fun together. Promise to be your best friend, confidant and everything in between. I know God will help us raise a compassionate, talented, and thoughtful daughter.”

Michelle confirmed in May that she was pregnant. She was based in the US, but came to the Philippines in March for her sister Ehra’s wedding.
