WATCH: Meet mir.i.am, will.i.am’s teenage alter ego on ‘Jimmy Fallon’

MANILA, Philippines – Singer and entrepreneur will.i.am is the latest celebrity to join Jimmy Fallon’s alterego Sara on the “Ew” segment of his popular Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.  

In “Ew,” a tween Sara talks about a roster of things that make them snicker with disgust (hence, “ew”), and often has A-list guests on board. Sara’s stepdad Gary (Gar-eh for Sara) often comes out to interrupt good times, to everyone’s general dismay.

Previous guest stars include Taylor Swift, who played an awkward, shy, teen, and Seth Rogen and Zac Efron as a pair of boisterous friends. Even First Lady Michelle Obama previously made an appearance.  

In the video above, Sara and mir.i.am enumerate all the things that make them go “ew,” but this time via a decked out music video, with a special appearance from stepdad Gary.  

Jimmy’s popular show often features other skits and segments suited to whichever artist is visiting at the time. These include a popular performance of “Let It Go” with Idina Menzel, performed with The Roots playing classroom instruments, a lip sync battle with Emma Stone, rolling around with Halle Berry, and a short piece where Anne Hathaway sings hip-hop songs with a jazzy showtune approach. – Rappler.com
