Jasmine says Anne just protective of her, not picking on Sam

In a live interview on The Buzz Sunday, December 8, Jasmine said she understands her sister, who is just out to protect her.

“I think just in general, ganun talaga ang mga ate. (All sisters are like that.) Everyone, anyone that I’ve ever liked before I was with Sam, talagang ganyan si ate. (she’s really like that.) She’s not picking on him. She can see how serious it is between us so gusto niya lang talagang safe yung feelings ko, (she just wants to protect my feelings), she can protect me as much as she can. She means well,” she said.

Jasmine said Sam is doing his best to reach out to her family. She hopes that one day, all of them will be able to hang out together more frequently. 

“Hopefully it will get to the point na talagang every occasion, magkakasama na kami. To say at this point na lahat kami  (all of us are) best friends, no. Pero we are all civil with each other po,” she said.

Anne and Sam were involved in an issue last March, where she allegedly told him in front of others that he was not good enough for her younger sister.

The Daniel incident 

As for the audio scandal that involved her and Daniel Padilla, Jasmine said that she would rather not talk about anymore. 

“I just really want to say that out of respect for everyone that’s involved in this issue, be it myself, Kathryn or Daniel, or Sam, my family, I’d rather stop talking about it because I know that the more we comment, the more it becomes a bigger issue and it just gets out of control,” she said.

“I really don’t want the fans to be fighting, or even my family to be giving comments na we can just avoid na lang. For me, I think it’s just better to give our attention to more important things.”

A viral audio clip featuring Daniel’s voice became controversial when it surfaced. In the clip, Daniel could be heard saying that he was excited to get a message from Jasmine. The audio clip got a lot of netizens reacting, especially the devoted fans of the Daniel-Kathryn Bernardo love team.(READ: Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Daniel Padilla speak up on viral audio). 

Daniel has since apologized for the trouble the audio clip has caused everyone, including Kathryn, saying it was his responsibility. – Rappler.com
