MANILA, Philippines – Wow! 

Fresh after his departure from band One Direction, singer Zayn Malik’s first solo demo, entitled “I Won’t Mind,” was released on Soundcloud by producer Naughty Boy. (READ: One Direction members speak up about Zayn Malik’s departure)

Naughty Boy, who has been working with Zayn over the weekend, tweeted the song, saying: 

let the music do the talking guys. thank us later. 🙂 x https://t.co/j7V2c7v1Yl

The producer also hashtagged with #2016 in the Soundcloud description, hinting at big plans for Zayn:

“let the music do the talking. there is nothing but love for what was left behind. thats why we don’t mind. 😉 #2016 #zaughty #zindabad,” he wrote.

Despite Zayn Malik’s departure, remaining One Direction members Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne will continue on as a band. Aside from continuing on their On The Road Again world tour, Niall also announced that the band organized their writing sessions for their next album.
