Minsan nakakalimutan mo na bad mood ka or you want to express or be a fan girl... ako iniisip ko is think before you click. And when you click it, you can’t delete it,” she said in jest.

(There are times when you are in a bad mood or you want to express or be a fan girl… me, I just remember to think before I click.)

Turning serious, Alex added: “Make sure mo na  [kung] nag-post ka, kaya mo siya panagutan and hindi ka lang nakigaya.” (Make sure that when you post something online, you are firm about it and that you did not just ride on the trend.)

“Always remember that when you express yourself, make sure you’re inspiring other people , helping other people, encouraging other people rather than bashing or destroying other people. Yung freedom natin of expression, yung freedom of speech you make something out of it, something good out hindi yung basta-basta na makakaclick nang wala lang (not just clicking without a reason),” she said.

On what changed her life

Aside from her wise words about social media, Alex also shared a thing or two about love.

(You know, what’s really changed in my life is that I decided not to date any man who does not see my worth. Because that’s where I realized, why do I keep dating people with whom I know there’s no future, who won’t fight for me.)

(I feel better that everyday, for the two years that I have been single, I am one with my thoughts, that I know myself better. Now that I am single, I know my value, what I want in life, and I will not allow myself again to be fooled and be played around with again.) – Rappler.com
