Netflix’s ‘Russian Doll’ gets a second season
Sweet birthday baby! The 'Russian Doll' loop goes on

MANILA, Philippines – Apparently, the Russian Doll loop isn’t over yet, as Netflix’s dark comedy series Russian Doll returns for a highly-demanded second season, as announced on the show’s Instagram account.

Season 2 will have 8 episodes, as announced during the Code Conference in Arizona on Tuesday, June 11, according to a Variety report.

Russian Doll stars Natasha Lyonne as Nadia, the main character of the New York-based comedy-drama who catches herself in an endless loop of attending her 36th birthday party and then dying, mysteriously repeating the same night again and again.

Natasha is also co-creator, executive producer, and writer of the show, alongside Amy Poehler and Lesyle Headland.

Russian Doll‘s first 8 episodes premiered on Netflix in February 2019. Since then, it has garnered acclaim from critics and viewers alike. – Rappler.com
