MANILA, Philippines – The best tattoo artists from around the globe gathered in the country for Dutdutan, a two-day tattoo expo featuring tattoo artists, a contest, and a trade fair from September 1 to 2 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

On its 17th year, the festival of ink celebrated its noble roots and revered the meaning behind the markings. They honor Apo Whang-Od, the living legend and last Kalinga tattoo artist to hold title of “Mambabatok.”
 
Ink enthusiasts were able to choose from different tattoo booths from local and international artists.

Flying in for the historic show was Tribal Gear founder Bobby Ruiz, with notorious inker Tone Chingon of Americana Tattoo Company, world renowned Tat Kat, designer and influencer Luke Wessman of New York Ink and badass Big Carlos Rivera of The Lower Left, San Diego, California.
 
The event featured tattoo competitions and Tribal’s annual bikini contest. Guest were also treated to local band performances – Franco, Razorback, Valley of Chrome, Basti Artadi, Rocksteddy, Queso, Skychurch and Chicosci.
