Locally is a delightful trip through local flavors
The country's fruits are now made into locally manufactured drinks everyone can try

MANILA, Philippines – Locally is a juice brand that showcases the best the country has to offer: namely freshly-harvested fruits… and puns! Filipinos love their puns, and the names of Locally’s juice flavors reflect that.

They’ve got Mangosteen (“Mangosteenie Miney Mo”), Sineguelas (“Save the Best for Sineguelast”), Dalandan (“You’ve Dalandan It Again”), Tamarind (“Tamarind My Bell”), Guyabano (“Guyabano-body But You”), Calamansi (“Calamansi’z the Day”), Pomelo (“Pomelong and Lasting Love”), and Coconut (“Merci Buco” in plain, pandan, and lychee flavors).

These aren’t novelty drinks, though. With their locally-sourced ingredients and down-home goodness, these drinks definitely pack a punch. They’re made of all the good stuff that quenches our tropical thirst.

Locally created its drinks as a highlight reel for the Philippines’ best regional produce. It’s a tasty, refreshing trip that reveals unique, all-Pinoy flavors not often found in juices. “Each of our flavors is created from natural, homegrown fruits sourced from different parts of the country,” says says Gretchen King, Group Product Manager of Locally. “There’s the tamarind from Central and Southern Luzon, Mangosteen from Davao, and Calamansi from Isabela, among others. We aim to raise awareness and appreciation of our local product, and in turn, support farmers and the farming community.“

Community is important to Locally, which sees itself as more than just a juice brand. The company considers itself a part of the revitalization of homegrown products, and the increasing esteem given to them. It’s safe to say their juices, which showcase produce from local growers, are delicious and meaningful. “There has been a resurgent advocacy promoting homegrown brands and products,” says Gretchen. “The country has seen an increase in fairs selling local produce, restaurants featuring their own take on local dishes, local art and films being recognized. Loving local is definitely in right now. And it’s a good thing because it enables us to support our own communities and promote Filipino pride, which is exactly what Locally is about.”

By supporting local growers, Locally can in turn keep producing these awesome juice flavors.
