Lawmakers and personalities in attendance came dressed in their best, with many taking the opportunity to show off designs by prominent Filipino designers. (IN PHOTOS: SONA Fashion 2014)

In a blog post on Thursday, July 23, and her Instagram post below, Kris Aquino said that her gown was designed by Michael Leyva with piña callado fabric from Lumban, Laguna. Her sons' barongs, on the other hand, were made by Bang Pineda with fabric from Lucban, Quezon.

According to a press release from the office of Senator Loren Legarda, she was wearing a black top and pants. She accesorized with a tapis from her textile collection, a necklace from Bontoc, Ilonggot earrings, and shoes by Tish Sevilla made from Marikina. The bag is made of recycled newspaper from the women of Barangay Holy Spirit.
Senator Grace Poe wore a white terno by designer Paul Cabral. According to the press release, the terno has a swirl pattern of fine white and periwinkle bugle beads.
Tootsy's dress was made by Rajo Laurel with fabric from Mindanao, according to her Instagram post.
