“For me, I believe its not the prettiest girls who win. Its always the most confident. And I go by the books. I study the pageant, what the peg, what they want to look like – the ideal beauty queen for that pageant. That’s what I am telling her,” Bea Rose said in an interview on ANC Headstart, Thursday, October 16.

“Know the judges, what kind of country, what’s their pop star look …I went by the books. Very technical.”

Bea said that she believes she won the title not only with her winning speech, but also with the look the Japanese people like. (READ: Get to know Miss International 2013)

“I kind of found out what the Japanese people love …the woman they like – soft, gentle, sweet, caring, ladylike.”

Meanwhile Bianca shared that she has been preparing for the competition by working out and attending classes.

When asked what will she do if she were to win the title, the 25-year-old Bianca said: “I do come from a background of humanitarian work and I want to stick to that. I actually have a vision of creating an application or website that will make it easier for people to connect to their chosen advocacy, chosen organization, get to know the organization, see the background if they are certified and find a gap to help the organizations and fulfill that gap somehow.”

She also thanked everyone for their support, knowing that the competition will be a tough one with Bea as the reigning queen.

“I wanna say thank you for the support. It’s amazing how many people believe I can do this back to back feat and I am claiming it and I am confident that we can do it to bring back the crown kasi alam ko attached na tayo doon (because I know we are attached to it).

Bea is set to crown the next Miss International on November 11 in Tokyo. – Rappler.com
