MANILA, Philippines – WebOS, the mobile operating system developed by Palm back in 2009 makes a comeback at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) reincarnated as a Smart TV. 

Twitter account @evleaks tweeted a photo of the rumored LG TV on Thursday, January 2.

The leak follows an earlier report on the Wall Street Journal that says LG was planning on showcasing an “Internet-connected television model powered by webOS” at CES.

The Evleaks image shows hints of the webOS user interface, with what look’s like a deck of cards that you can flip through. The rendering also shows YouTube, Facebook, Skype and Twitter apps. The Smart TV is rumored to run on a 2.2GHz dual-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM. 

Acquired by Hewlett-Packard in 2010 and then sold to LG last 2013, the open-source version of webOS that will power’s LG’s new Smart TV will still feature the cards system, a popular feature of the once-mobile OS.
