MANILA, Philippines – In May 2015, Rappler launched #TheLeaderIWant, the theme of our 2016 presidential elections coverage, to help the public in choosing the right leaders that will lead our country in the next 6 years.

As part of this campaign and to guide voters along this journey and help make informed decisions, Rappler will hold #TheLeaderIWant President-Vice President Forum on January 20 at the De La Salle University’s Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium in Manila.

Before, during, and after this forum, which is open to other media for coverage, the public will be able to ask their candidates questions through our social media partners.

While requests for reservations are pouring in, you can participate in the discussion wherever you are nationwide. Media partners, DZRH-MBC & Media ng Bayan (formerly PTV-4), plan to “roadblock” about 200 television and radio stations across the Philippines and telecast the forum live from 3-5pm.

MovePH, Rappler’s civic engagement arm, has mobilized its communities and partners to host viewing parties for the public for free. Below is a list of our viewing parties nationwide. Please send your full name, e-mail and contact numbers to the point person for each location.
