MANILA, Philippines – Organizations are bringing various forms of assistance to vulnerable sectors amid the rising cases of novel coronavirus infections in the Philippines, even as the entire island of Luzon and some provinces and cities outside Metro Manila remained on lockdown.

This initiative aims to facilitate fundraising to help in providing basic necessities to the affected families of farmers, fishermen, laborers, and other “no work, no pay” individuals in Biliran Island. The group, together with its partners, will be providing its beneficiaries with:

2. hygiene kits (soap, toothpaste, disinfectant);

#WeMove is a national movement of parliamentarians working to provide humanitarian aid to the poor and homeless, as well as victims of disaster and conflict.
