MANILA, Philippines – Editor and author Raul Rodrigo, best known for writing several books about the Lopez family, died on Monday, January 30. He was 46 years old.
ABS-CBN News reports Rodrigo was found dead in his home at around 8 am. The cause of death is not yet clear.
Rodrigo was a former opinion editor at the Manila Times, and wrote several books about the Lopez family: Kapitan: Geny Lopez and the Making of ABS-CBN; Undaunted: The Lopez Legacy 1800-2010; and Phoenix: The Saga of the Lopez Family 1800-2000.
He is also a known as an aikido enthusiast.
Rodrigo is survived by his wife Nancy, and daughters Isabel and Beatriz Sophia. – Rappler.com
