
MANILA, Philippines – Philippine authorities arrested a 19-year-old Brazilian woman found with 6 kilograms of cocaine at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 on Saturday, October 15, reports said.
Yasmin Silva of Sao Paolo, Brazil, arrived at NAIA 3 from Dubai at around 5:20 pm, PTV4 reported.
The seized drugs were estimated to have a street value of P30 million.

Silva is under the custody of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
It is the latest drug bust at the NAIA involving foreigners. On October 5, airport authorities arrested 3 suspected foreign drug couriers carrying cocaine worth P100 million.
In August, a Chinese-American man was arrested after he was found with 2.3 kilos of high-grade cocaine after landing at the Clark International Airport in Pampanga. – Rappler.com
