MANILA, Philippines – The Senate committees on economic affairs and ways and means are holding a hearing on the impact of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) law on the prices of goods.

Inflation, or the movement of prices of basic goods and services, hit another fresh high of 5.7% in July.
