Quezon City suspends classes for Duterte SONA on July 22
MANILA, Philippines – Classes in all levels are suspended in Quezon City on Monday, July 22, for President Rodrigo Duterte's 4th State of the Nation Address (SONA).
Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte ordered the suspension for both public and private schools.
The city government announced the order in a Facebook post on Thursday, July 18.
Duterte will deliver his SONA at the Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City on Monday, also the same day the 18th Congress will open. (READ: 12 things to expect at Duterte's SONA 2019) – Rappler.com
