MANILA, Philippines (3rd UPDATE) –  Vice President Leni Robredo’s office and the partners of its anti-poverty program Angat Buhay have opened a total of 16 dormitories in Metro Manila and parts of the Luzon and the Visayas that frontliners battling the coronavirus pandemic can use for free.

The free service, however, is on a “first come, first served basis” given the limited number of beds per dorm and the need to implement physical distancing.
