MANILA, Philippines – It’s going to be a rainy December 29 for those in the Bicol region, eastern Visayas and the provinces of Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.

According to the 5 am update of state weather bureau PAGASA, cloudy skies will loom over these areas, bringing light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

The same can be said for the northern part of the country. There will be cloudy skies and light rains in Ilocos, Cagayan Valley and Cordillera, brought about by the northeast monsoon affecting northern and central Luzon.

Moderate to strong winds from the northeast will blow towards Luzon and Visayas, making coastal waters in these regions moderate to rough.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies bringing light rains. The rest of the country will experience isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.

In Mindanao, winds from the northeast will be light to moderate. – Rappler.com
