Thunder takes Game 1

The Oklahoma City Thunder took down the Miami Heat, 105-94, in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Kevin Durant led the score board with 36 points, 17 of which came in the last quarter. Teammate Russell Westbrook had 27 points and 11 assists. Regular season MVP LeBron James finished with 30 points but was unable to  stop Durant, scoring only 7 points, and with only 1 attempt at the basket after the Thunder took control in the last 8 minutes of the final quarter. Game 2 of the 7-game finals will be on Thursday, June 14.
