Microsoft unveils Office 2013

The latest Office update integrates Skype and Yammer functions following Microsoft's takeover of the firms - Microsoft
Microsoft gave members of the press a preview of the upcoming version of their popular productivity suite, ‘Office’. Similar to the upcoming Windows 8, Office 2013 will be fully touch-ready – meaning, Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint will respond to touch-based controls like swiping, pinch-to-zoom and tapping. Office 2013 also comes with a cloud-based storage integration via Skydrive, where copies of documents are saved and synced each time changes are made. Microsoft CEO Steve Balmer calls the product update their “most ambitious release” ever.
