Results of 2014 Bar exams out March 26

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – The results of the 2014 Bar examinations will be released Thursday morning, March 26.

“#BAR2014 results will be released Thursday, March 26 after a special en banc session at 9:30 am,” the Supreme Court announced on its official Twitter account on Tuesday, March 24.

The 2014 Bar exams was conducted on all Sundays of October. Of the 6,344 initial examinees, only 5,994 were able to finish until the last day. (READ: FAST FACTS: Philippine Bar examination)

There were more retakers too – a total of 3,229 compared to the 3,115 who took the test for the first time. 

Only 1,174 out of 5,593 examinees passed the 2013 Bar exams – considered one of the hardest licensure exams in the Philippines. 

Results of the 2014 exams will be posted outside the gates of the SC compound, and on two large screens within the SC quadrangle. It will also be available for viewing online at sc.judiciary.gov.ph. 

Meanwhile, the 2015 exams will be moved to November in consideration of the academic calendar shift of some law schools in the country. – Rappler.com
