Belmonte: not nostalgic about 2000

MANILA, Philippines – House Speaker Feliciano “Sonny” Belmonte Jr, who was among the prosecutors in the 2000 impeachment trial of former President Joseph Estrada, says he is far from nostalgic about that historic event.

It was not a pleasant experience at all for him because, he says, it required thinking on your toes, expecting the unexpected, and doing one’s best.
