Metro Manila police chief Major General Debold Sinas says he will undergo a check-up at a Manila City hospital

Metro Manila police chief Major General Debold Sinas has gone on medical leave, he announced in a statement on Wednesday, August 19.

According to Sinas, Brigadier General Nolasco Bathan, the second in command in the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), will take over as officer-in-charge.

Nolasco will lead Metro Manila cops from August 20 to 24 or until Sinas returns to work.

Sinas did not disclose what the check-up was for, but he said he will be examined in a Manila City hospital. – Rappler.com
