People trooped to Emerald Avenue in Pasig City on Sunday, March 20, for the PasigLaban Para sa Tropa Pasig City People’s Rally for presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo, running mate Senator Kiko Pangilinan, and their Senate bets.
The organizers said the event is meant to “highlight Pasig City as a city of courageous and patriotic freedom fighters, with the likes of Jovito Salonga and Rene Saguisag having come from this city.”

MANILA, Philippines – The chants would begin with a single voice, a rallying cry under the sweltering heat that would ripple through an entire avenue of people who stood shoulder to shoulder, swaying their arms in the air.
