Prosecution designates new deputy

MANILA, Philippines – Shortly after Prosecutor Rodolfo Fariñas walked out of the impeachment court, they announced his appointment as deputy lead prosecutor.

Fariñas was earlier “frustrated” because his colleagues blocked him from taking the floor. He rushed out of the Senate complex after the trial was adjourned on Thursday, January 27, but lead prosecutor Niel Tupas Jr gave assurances that all is well in the prosecution panel. – Rappler.com
