LPA hovers east of Surigao del Sur

MANILA, Philippines – It will be a cloudy Saturday, December 27 for parts of the country, state weather bureau PAGASA said. 

PAGASA said the low pressure area (LPA) which entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) Friday morning, December 26 was located at 800 km east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur as of 4 pm. 

Bicol region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao region will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. The tail-end of a cold front is affecting Bicol region.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Ilocos region, Central Luzon, and the Quezon province will also have cloudy skies but with light rains. A northeast monsoon is affecting Northern and Central Luzon. 

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Coastal seas will be moderate to rough as moderate to strong winds blow from the northeast over the whole archipelago.
