DepEd allows optional wearing of face masks in classrooms

The Department of Education (DepEd) will make the wearing of face masks inside classrooms optional, its spokesman said on Tuesday, November 1.

This comes after President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., through Executive Order No. 7, scrapped the mask-wearing policy in place since 2020.
