NLEX wins 4th straight D-League title

The NLEX Road Warriors secured their fourth straight PBA D-League title after sweeping the Cagayan Valley Rising Suns, 82-71, in the Aspirants' Cup finals at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan.
The Road Warriors zoomed to a 19-2 start before quelling a late rally by the Rising Suns to win the series, 2-0, and remain the only team in the D-League with a championship.
Garvo Lanete led all scorers with 17 points for NLEX while Ian Sangalang, named Best Player of the Conference before the game, finished with nine points, seven rebounds and four blocks.
