MANILA, Philippines – Manny Pacquiao is none too amused by Floyd Mayweather’s continued mockery.
Mayweather, who defeated the 8-division Filipino boxing champ in May, posted a video to his social media accounts of him smacking a boxing dummy in a sporting goods store on Wednesday, June 1, pretending that the dummy was Pacquiao.
“You’re out here telling people that I didn’t win fair and square, that this little arm is messed up. Is that right? Talk to me,” Mayweather said, before letting loose with some open hand strikes to the rubber dummy’s face.

I love having fun, joking and living life #SenseOfHumorPosted by Floyd Mayweather on Wednesday, July 1, 2015
Mayweather said he was “having fun, joking and living life” with the post, but the 36-year-old Sarangani congressman isn’t laughing.
“A real champion is gracious both in his words and conduct. Someone who is a champion not just in his chosen field of endeavor but even in his own home and private life,” Pacquiao was quoted by Aquiles Zonio in a story on Philboxing.com.
Pacquiao cites the domestic violence record of Mayweather (48-0, 26 knockouts) of Grand Rapids, Mich., who served 60 days of a 90-day sentence in 2012 for attacking Josie Harris, the mother of 3 of his children. Mayweather’s father/trainer Floyd Sr spent 5 years in federal prison for drug trafficking.
“We should understand Floyd Mayweather Jr. because of his family background. He hailed from a family of ex-convicts and he himself is an ex-convict. We could not blame him because his action just showed the kind of family upbringing he had,” said Pacquiao.
“It only reminds me of what he did to his ex-wife. I hope he would find time to reflect on his life and repent for the sins he committed in the past.”
Pacquiao (57-6-2, 38 KOs) of General Santos City, Philippines is set to leave for the Philippines this weekend to continue rehabilitation on his right rotator cuff, which he tore during training for the Mayweather fight and re-aggravated during the fight.
After the fight, Pacquiao invited Mayweather to his prayer service via text message but Mayweather did not respond.
“I still respect him as God’s creation and I won’t resort to such kind of a low blow just to get his attention,” said Pacquiao.
“He’s just like a lost soul still groping in the dark. I pray that may God touch his heart so he will discern the real meaning of love and life.”
Mayweather is set to fight again on September 12, with candidates including Andre Berto, Karim Mayfield and Amir Khan.
