WATCH: LeBron shoves Curry, then Steph gets even

MANILA, Philippines – Reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry and 4-time league MVP LeBron James both sent the other to the floor during the rematch of last year’s NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday, January 19 (Monday, January 18 in the US).

James was called for a foul late in the opening period after shoving Curry to the floor as they tangled off the ball at the top of the key. The Warriors had already built a 31-19 lead at that point.

Later on in the third quarter, with the Warriors still in control 76-44, Curry got some payback as he freed himself from the defense, causing James to fall to the floor as well, and ran to the 3-point line for a catch-and-shoot 3-pointer.

Curry finished with 35 points on 7 triples as Golden State coasted to a 132-98 rout of Cleveland in the team’s first visit back to the Quicken Loans Arena, the site of the Warriors’ championship moment last season.
