The Rain or Shine Elasto Painters finally finished off the Alaska Aces in Game 6, 109-92, on Wednesday, May 18, to claim the 2016 PBA Commissioner's Cup championship.
The Painters, who once led the series 3-0 before allowing the Aces to win two straight, clinched their first title in 4 years or since the 2012 Governors' Cup.
Paul Lee was named Finals MVP with his 20 points, including a scorching first quarter that helped Rain or Shine pull away for good early on.
